[title size=”1″]Knutsford Interschools Cross Country 25th September 2014[/title]

[one_half last=”no”]After the success of the Spring Schools cross country event this year, we are once again be hosting the Knutsford Interschools X-Country for Years 4, 5 & 6 at Egerton Sports ground on Thursday 25th September  2014. The event is open to all Primary schools in Knutsford including Bexton, Egerton, Yorston Lodge, Manor Park and St.Vincents.

For this event we’ve introduced another 2  races of a team relay for boys and for girls comprising of a team of 3 girls one each from year 4, 5 and 6 and team of 3 boys, one from years 4, 5 and 6. We hope each schools will enter a team and there will be a prize and points for the winning Girls team and the winning boys team

We’re able to put on this event with the help and generosity of our event sponsor Barrington Sports in Knutsford.

The races will start as close to 4 o’clock as possible and expect all the races to be finished by 5:30.

Race order will be:

Year 4 Boys – 1.5 Laps of the course (1.5Km)

Year 4 Girls – 1.5 Laps of the course (1.5Km)

Year 5 Boys – 2 Laps of the course (2Km)

Year 5 Girls – 2 Laps of the course (2Km)

Year 6 Boys – 2.5 Laps of the course (2.5Km)

Year 6 Girls – 2.5 Laps of the course (2.5Km)

Team Relay Girls & Team Relay Boys – 3 x 1 Laps of the course (3Km in total)

There will be individual prizes for all participants andtropheys for the winners and a team prize for the relays and school with the most podium spots (1st 5 score points towards the winning school)

Please see your school for entry to the event and to be included in your school team.

Transport to the event will need to be organised by parents.
